Use Verizon’s tools to find your lost phone

Verizon offers features through the My Verizon app and your account online that can help:

  • Lock or erase your device. If you can’t recover your phone, you can use Verizon’s security settings to remotely lock your device or erase your data.
  • Suspend service. To prevent unauthorized use, you can temporarily suspend service through My Verizon until your phone is recovered.

Try your phone’s built-in tracking features

Even without Verizon-specific tools, your device likely has built-in options for locating it:

  • iPhone: Go to Find My iPhone from another Apple device or sign in with your Apple ID online.
  • Android: Visit Find My Device and sign in with your Google account to see your phone’s location.

File a claim if your phone can’t be found

If your phone is lost or stolen and you’re enrolled in Verizon Mobile Protect, you can file a claim for a replacement device. Verizon works with Asurion to manage this process:

  1. Go to the Verizon claim page.
  2. Follow the steps to file your claim.
