How to use the Fire TV remote app on iPhone or Android 

Setting up the app only takes a few minutes. Once your phone and Fire TV are on the same Wi-Fi network, you'll be able to navigate menus, launch apps, and even use voice commands right from your device.

1. Download the Amazon Fire TV app. Go to the App Store or Google Play to install the app. 
2. Connect to Wi-Fi. Make sure your phone and Fire TV are on the same Wi-Fi network. 
3. Open the app and choose your device. Select your Fire TV from the list. 
4. Enter the pairing code. Type the 4-digit code displayed on your TV.  
5. Start controlling your Fire TV. Your phone now works as a Fire TV remote.

Important: The Fire TV app only works if your Fire TV is already connected to Wi-Fi.
