Asurion, the global leader in helping people unlock the potential of technology, has been listed as one of Forbes America’s Best-in-State Employers 2019 for the state of Tennessee.
Forbes America’s Best-In-State Employers 2019 were chosen based on an independent survey of 80,000 employees that work for companies employing at least 500 workers. In partnership with market research firm Statista, the Forbes survey emphasized how likely employees were to recommend their employer to friends and family. Employees were also asked to recommend other employers, which also factored into the rankings.
Our people are the heart of who we are and what we do, which this recognition reflects. By fostering an engaging environment that allows our employees to bring their best selves to work, we also empower them to bring their uniquely human approach to helping our customers with their technology.”
Tony Detter, Asurion CEO
Asurion is one of five Nashville-based companies and one of 73 total employers in the state who appeared on the Best-in-Tennessee list.
“Our people are the heart of who we are and what we do, which this recognition reflects,” said Asurion CEO Tony Detter. “By fostering an engaging environment that allows our employees to bring their best selves to work, we also empower them to bring their uniquely human approach to helping our customers with their technology. This employee and worker recognition from across the state of Tennessee affirms we’re on the right path.”
The Forbes ranking list is the latest of many awards recognizing Asurion’s culture and workplace. We’ve been certified A Great Place to Work® for the last two consecutive years; named a Top Workplace in the Nashville area for the past four years in a row; and were recognized as a 2018 Best Places to Work in IT by IDG’s Computerworld. Earlier this year Asurion received a perfect score of 100 on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation.
