To turn on your Google Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, follow these easy steps:
- Press and hold the Power button located on the right side of your phone.
- Continue holding the button until the phone vibrates and the Google™ logo appears on your phone screen.
How to turn off Pixel 8
Turning off your Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro is just as straightforward:
- Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons for a few seconds.
- Then, tap Power off.
What if my Pixel won’t turn on or off?
Occasionally, your Google Pixel may not respond when you try to turn it on or off, which can be a sign of a drained battery or a software glitch.
If your Pixel 8 won't turn on
- Connect your phone to its original charger and plug it into a power outlet.
- Let your phone charge for at least 30 minutes.
- After charging, press and hold the Power button to turn on the phone.
