FAQ
What happens when you reset a Blink camera?
Resetting clears the camera’s Wi-Fi connection and removes it from your network. It does not delete your clips stored in the cloud, but you’ll need to set the camera up again in the Blink app.
How do I know if my Blink camera reset worked?
You’ll usually see the status light flash or pulse, which means the camera has entered setup mode. If there’s no light response, check the batteries first.
Will resetting my Blink camera delete my videos?
No. Resetting the camera doesn’t erase saved clips in your Blink account. Your recordings stay in the cloud unless you delete them manually.
Why won’t my Blink camera reset?
Low batteries are the most common reason. Replace them and try again. If it still doesn’t respond, make sure you’re holding the reset button long enough.
