Key takeaways
2021 was a momentous year filled with both successes and challenges. But as a company, we take them in stride. Here are six key areas where we made the most impact.
Women + people of color
Representation of women in Executive Leadership increased to 22.5% globally while women of color (WOC) increased 25%.
Diversity in tech careers
Global representation of women in tech careers rose by 3.3%. People of Color1 (POC) went up 21.6% in tech leadership in the U.S.
Employee resource groups
Membership in our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) grew 12.6% globally from 2021 to 2022.
Promotions
Promotions decreased for women 3% and POC 5%, however they continue to make up 42% and 46% of promotions respectfully.
New hires
Women make up 43% of global and U.S. new hires, and POC make up 60% in the U.S. But globally, women have seen a 15% decrease.
Merit pay increases
The average merit and salary for women and POC are now within cents of those of their white and male employee counterparts.
