A partnership is formed
It started at Stanford University—the birthplace of search funds. MBA graduates Kevin Taweel and Jim Ellis gather investors and begin searching for a company to acquire.
Under the advisement of Stanford Graduate School of Business professor Irving Grousbeck, it becomes the most successful search fund in history.
